Kim & Mark PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 27 November 2009 17:16

Mark and Kim spend their spare moments with their horses and of course the mascot - Payton the Gordon Setter.
In the spring of 2008 Kim and Mark went to North Carolina (missed all the snow storms between here and there) and brought back Myles - Luke Its Chocolate Time- a two year old AQHA gelding bred for pleasure and Kim hopes he excels at trail. Mark and Kody already beat Kim and Myles in showmanship. Kim started Myles under saddle this fall and moved him to a new home so he could continue his schooling this winter - heated indoor arena. Sounds like the rest of the equine family are going to join Myles come spring. ("Exclusively Equine" is the name of the barn).

Skippy is 27 this year and still going strong, Kody is 10 and Myles is a three year old. (2009)
Kim works for Nestle Nutrition R&D Center Minneapolis and Mark is still at Andersen Windows. There are only 3 cats now, Kim and Mark lost Kramer this winter. Payton, the trusty horseshow dog is getting a gray muzzle but he is still making friends at the horse shows. Mark turned 50 this year (his muzzle isn't gray) and Kim occassionally takes time off from horseshowing for scrapbooking. They still ride the Goldwing, watch and listen to baseball games and plan a annual baseball trip. The plan is to visit every stadium in the US. The teams keep building new ones. I don't think they will run out of places to visit.

Scott & Laurina PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 27 November 2009 17:28

Scott and Laurina are still on their 15 acre farm. Besides the horses they have a few sheep and chickens. Elizabeth and Madelyn moved into their new rooms this fall!
Scott is still working as a carpenter and is keeping pretty busy. He had a busy summer haying. I think the farming thing is in the blood. Laurina had a big garden again this summer and she is working at the Pit Stop in Rock Creek on the weekends. The girls love to collect eggs from the laying hens & Madelyn and Elizabeth ride their horses as much as they can. Evelyn is crazy about dinosaurs and Earl loves his tractors and trucks and they all spend as much time outside as they can.
It's amazing how those kids are growing up. Earl looks at you with those big brown eyes and long eyelashes (why do boys always get the eyelashes?) and you just want to hug him. Here are some school pictures from last year. This years coming soon!

Kent PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 27 November 2009 17:41

Kent is still working at Office Max full time as a Technology Manager and is also working temporarily and part time at the Pine County Court House in the IT division, Kent moved home last fall. He will continue working at Officemax at Maplewood until he finds a job in the computer networking industry. He continually amazes Terry and myself with his knowledge of almost anything pertaining to technology (not limited to computers). He is happiest when someone comes up with a piece of electronics that needs fixing. Listening to pod casts about the newest and latest in technology is better than any prime time show. He enjoys bowling and is the "herdsman" when we take our trips out west.
